Auctioning myself on eBay

So, I had a light bulb moment yesterday.

It all started with my boyfriend telling me he needed some long sleeve dress shirts and needed to hit the mall. I told him I see them all the time in thrift shops and are usually really nice ones. He said sure , why not. (imagine here me running to get my shoes, heart pumping, ready to attack the thrift store challenge).

So what do I find? 9 really nice dress shirts, mostly new. Brands include Saks Fifth Avenue, Calvin Klein, Geoffrey Beene, Nordstrom and more. I got all 9 for $65 (hello that's the cost one 1 at the mall !) Brought those baby's home. Ah, task accomplished. Onto another......

So I thought wow, how many men don't realize this or don't want to take the time to go to TS or maybe just don't like being in them? I would totally shop for them and find them what they needed I'm sure. After all, I'm there anyway!

So here is the result. Why not see if someone will just bid for me to find shirts for them? I'm starting with Hawaiian shirts as I see them all the time (and have some on ebay right now)

I personally think it's a great idea. Let's just see if I get any bites.

What do you think?

Still thrift store-ing

Okay, I've been a slacker. Not as far as shopping at thrift stores though. Man, I've been a busy bird. I get in my moods and go in phases. I'm back in the mood of selling clothing on eBay. . favorite new thrift store (the ones that emails us) is having a sale tomorrow morning. All childrens clothing is 25 cents! I don't have children no but children's clothing sells like crazy on eBay, especially in lots. I can easily buy 100 items for $25 and will sell for around $200. 20 items for $5 will easily for $50. Why don't I do it? Oh, I want to. But they emailed us a bit late as I work and I'd have to take the morning off. I'm very tempted. However my hands are full with my other eBay auctions right now so I'm letting go of this one. It aint easy though!

So, one of my recent findings is these cool bowling shoes you see here. Aren't they cool? We'll see how much they sell for. As long as I get my money back and a couple of dollars then I'm happy. I know to a lot of sellers that is a waste of time but for me, it's not all about eBay. It's about hunting at thrift stores and finding those gems.

So until next time..........
