Get onto Thrift Store mailing lists

Sorry for the lag in posts. I have way too many projects up my sleeve. Been doing a lot of online marketing and such. But enough of that boring stuff.

So, I received an email the other day from a local thrift store that said that all their clothes were 75 cents and all shoes were $2! No way! Yes way. That means all designer clothes, suits and jackets, jeans, you name it. Oh man, I was there as soon as it opened. I did find some items for my ebay listings which you can see
here if you're interested. Actually most of this stuff is my own but some was fromt the thrift stores. I did find a brand new Bebe dressy tube top with the $88 tag still on there. Yep, 75 cents. Man that was fun.

Anyway, this got me thinking about all the other thrift stores that might have some kind of mailing list. This particular one happen to have a sign up sheet at the front that I signed up on awhile back but what about all the others? Just because I haven't seen one doesn't mean they don't have one. After all, these are volunteers so they may just not have the time to put something like that together.

So, my next goal is to ask if I can get onto their mailing list. I suggest you all check that out too!

Thrift Store Art

So, what do you all do when you come across thrift store art? Art that you can find in thrift stores that is? It's awfully tempting isn't it?

I pass up so many items, I actually have to go into denial about it or else I'd pick up every piece and well, you know how that goes.

However now that I have my new eBay office, I have some room to decorate a bit and why not with thrift store found artwork?

Now that saving money is on our minds, I ask that you take a second look at thrift store art as gifts for those unique individuals you know. Maybe you just need to change out the frame or give it some TLC?

I'm still here - just been interneting.....

Hello everyone. Wow, I didn't realize it had been 3 weeks since I had been here. I actually have thrifted a few times but as you may have seen from my last post, I've set up an "official" office for my eBay and internet business. My eBay items are in need of some organizing so I've been focusing on that.

You may also notice the newsletter invite at the top of this blog. This is part of my interneting I've been referring too.

I highly recommend anyone interested in internet marketing and making money online check it out.

If anyone has any questions or comments on this subject I'd love to hear from you.

Until next time................
